20 Stunning Fuerteventura Photos To Inspire Your Wanderlust

Fuerteventura Island is a volcanic island in Spain (one of the Canary Islands just off the coast of West Africa). The scenery in Fuerteventura is simply stunning, with rolling sand dunes and volcanic landscapes. There is also the other-worldly Lobos Island just off the coast of Fuertentura.

The capital of Fuerteventura is Puerto Del Rosario. Another popular tourist resort on Fuerteventura island is the harbour town of Corralejo. However, it is Fuerteventura’s amazing sand dunes at the Las Dunas Natural Park which really steal the show and capture the imagination.

Fuerteventura is known for having the best beaches in the Canary Islands, which you will see from these photos. My last visit to Fuerteventura was in December 2022.

You will find a map of Fuerteventura , hotel suggestions and related reading links at the bottom of this post.
