1. Start your Amalfi coast road trip in Sorrento.
Begin your Amalfi Coast road trip by starting in the charming town of Sorrento.
If you are currently in Naples, you can take the A3 highway south towards Sorrento. The journey takes approximately one hour.
Once in Sorrento, park your car and explore the town’s narrow streets, vibrant piazzas, and indulge in the delicious local limoncello.
